I don't usually make resolutions for each year. But due to my insane spending at the end of last year I decided to make a resolution not to make impulse purchases and to limit my spending. Well, this lasted 2 days. I saw a pair of Peeptoe heels that I'd wanted when they first came out but couldn't find in my size. They were reduced from $280 to $99, then further to $49, then AGAIN down to $39. Can't say no to that, although in my defense I deliberated for a good 10 minutes (and probably pissed off the sales assistant).
Also in my defense is this pair of Marcs pants I did NOT buy.
I ummed and ahhed for about a week and have finally decided against it. I don't need another pair of work pants and I'm still not 100% confident/comfortable wearing coloured bottoms (I haven't even caught onto the coloured jeans phase).
Gorgeous shoes and great price!
ReplyDeleteI know it was hard to go past the price!
DeleteGreat shoes - although it is hard to maintain a shopping ban with such good sales. Good work on resisting the pants.. They are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI knowwww it was really difficult to finally say no to the pants but I think it was the right decision
DeleteAbsolute bargain buy, now I'm debating whether or not to go have a look for myself even though i have the same self imposed NYE resolution hahahhaha
ReplyDeleteDO IT NAT! Hehehe
DeleteAt least you deliberated, so technically not a impulse purchase! ;) And it was only $39, not $390 so you know you're really doing quite well =p
ReplyDeleteI love the way you think ;)
DeleteIn my opinion, they don't count towards this year! You would have bought them last year if they had your size, it's almost like ordering them last year in your size, but they only turned up this year. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah I totally agree ;)
